FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENDORONG NIAT BERBAGI PENGETAHUAN INDIVIDU ANTAR GENERASI DI ERA INDUSTRI 4.0

Penerapan teknologi Industri 4.0 di industri telekomunikasi menuntut individu untuk memiliki pemahaman yang sejalan dengan perubahan di organisasi melalui aktivitas berbagi pengetahuan. Akan tetapi individu tidak mudah berbagi pengetahuan karena harus memiliki niat yang kuat. Perbedaan usia dianggap sebagai faktor penentu niat berbagi pengetahuan. Selain itu, perilaku kerja inovatif juga dikaitkan dengan niat berbagi pengetahuan. Penelitian sebelumnya telah menunjukkan bahwa niat berbagi pengetahuan dapat mendorong perilaku kerja inovatif, namun hubungan sebaliknya belum banyak diteliti. Penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap 315 pegawai organisasi telekomunikasi di Indonesia, membuktikan bahwa perilaku kerja inovatif berhubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap niat berbagi pengetahuan. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa individu generasi X memiliki niat berbagi pengetahuan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan generasi Y. Perbedaan tersebut disebabkan oleh standar rekrutmen yang tinggi, mekanisme penghargaan pegawai, dukungan sistem informasi, dan budaya organisasi. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan pandangan baru terhadap hubungan antara perilaku kerja inovatif dan niat berbagi pengetahuan, serta peran usia pada niat berbagi pengetahuan.
