PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN DESTINASI WISATA KEBUGARAN: STUDI KASUS KALURAHAN CANDEN

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi alam dan lingkungan; kondisi sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya Canden; kebijakan pemerintah; dan partisipasi masyarakat terkait dengan pengembangan destinasi wisata kebugaran. Pemilihan Kalurahan Canden dengan pertimbangan potensi yang dimilikinya, antara lain: lingkungan alam yang menarik dan memiliki kekhasan, usaha jamu, usaha makanan tradisional, dan kerajinan yang dapat mendukung pengembangan destinasi wisata kebugaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis untuk mengetahui potensi pendukung pariwisata yang ada di wilayah desa Canden. Sampel diperoleh dengan teknik stratified sampling dan convenience sampling. Kombinasi itu digunakan untuk memilih sampel 100 responden penduduk Canden yang didalami dengan wawancara dengan beberapa pihak yang terlibat secara langsung dalam pengembangan pariwisata di Canden. Hasil penelitian diharapkan sebagai pendukung pengembangan ilmu / teori pariwisata, khususnya tentang konsep destinasi wisata kebugaran dan secara praktis dapat menjadi rujukan bagi pengembangan destinasi wisata kebugaran
