Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh CEO power, government monitoring terhadap kebijakan dividen dan kinerja bank. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode tahun 2007-2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda untuk menguji pengaruh pada hipotesis. Terdapat 186 jumlah observasi yang digunakan dalam model 1 dan 185 jumlah observasi yang digunakan pada model 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CEO power yang diproksikan menggunakan CEO tenure berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen dan kinerja bank. Sedangkan CEO power yang diproksikan dengan CEO ownership tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen dan kinerja bank. Selain itu, government monitoring berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen. Namun, government monitoring tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja bank.
